Nkasa Lupala Tented Lodge is built on the banks of one of the many channels of the Kwando-Linyanti river system. This unique Namibian wetland paradise in the eastern Caprivi region, is commonly known as Mamili and was recently renamed Nkasa Lupala National Park.
The Lodge is JV with the Wuparo Conservancy and was the first Lodge to establish operations in the Nkasa Rupara National Park (Mamili).
In this cooperation is part of the successful and award winning Namibian conservancy program followed by IRDNC and WWF Namibia
Wildlife viewing opportunities at the lodge include: lion, elephant, buffalo, and rare wetland species such as lechwe, sitatunga and reed buck.
The National Park region has the greatest diversity of bird life in Namibia.
The Lodge has 10 luxury Tents constructed out of steel, canvas and wood with proper doors and windows and en-suite bathroom facilities. A central main area with bar, dining room, lounge facility, kitchen, storage, office and view point is linked to the rooms through a network of pathways.
An Italian family, the Micheletti are the owners and managers, they will endeavour to ensure that the lodge will offer a special wilderness adventure as the accommodation blends in with the natural surroundings ensuring a unique experience while allowing for sensible and Eco-friendly tourism management.

The conservancy was started by the Mayeyi Traditional Authority after they found that the community was not reaping the benefits of the natural resources found between the Nkasa Rupara (Mamili) and Mudumu NP.

Situated in a small riverine forest, Caprivi Mutoya Lodge & Campsite lies on the banks of a tranquil backwater lake of the Zambezi River, approximately 24km east of Katima Mulilo in Namibia.
