The Namibian Wetlands Route (TNWR) will fiercely advocate on behalf of their members to ensure the continued success of a competitive, progressive, and sustainable tourism industry in the Zambezi Region of Namibia. 

TNWR will works hard to bring their members value by encouraging the continuous growth and development of the Zambezi Region tourism industry.  This will be done by continued dialogue with the Namibia Government, Non-Governmental Organisations and other tourism stakeholders to ensure that the Zambezi Region is marketed positively as a destination and that tourists are assured of the best service from these entities.

TNWR promotes best practice by working closely with the Namibian Tourism Board for regulated establishments and operators. TNWR also strives to generate revenue for the region, promote local culture and history, and create networks and partnerships within the KAZA-TFCA.

Membership fees collected are primarily used by TNWR to lobby for the development of tourism in the Zambezi Region and to promote the region as one of Namibia’s preferred travel & tourism destinations.
